Dr. Matthew Walls grew up in Northeastern Oklahoma. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Tulsa and Pacific University in Oregon, then went on to attend the University Of Oklahoma College Of Dentistry.
During his senior year he completed a mini-residency in general dentistry then graduated in 1998 with the highest GPA in the history of the school. He won 17 awards, including the Law and Ethics in Dentistry Award from the National Society of Dental Practitioners. He also earned the highest possible score on Part II of his National Board Exam. After graduating with Outstanding Distinction, he started practicing in Coweta.
Dr. Walls has always enjoyed practicing a wide variety of dental fields and is a constant student of dentistry. He occasionally lectures to other dentists on ethics.
He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Oklahoma Dental Association, the Tulsa County Dental Society, the Tulsa County Endodontic Study Club, the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society, and the Coweta Chamber of Commerce. He has also served as President of the Tulsa County Endodontic Study Club.
Dr. Walls and his wife Lynn are raising their three children in rural Wagoner County.
